We conduct the Daikoku-ten rite from 1:00 p.m. on the 8th.
Priests pray to Daikoku-ten for the fulfillment of your wishes in the main hall.
Everyone is welcome so feel free to join the rite.
[Today’s bits of knowledge about Daikoku-ten]
Daikokuten is one of the Seven Lucky Gods.
The Seven Lucky Gods are familiar to Japanese people, but Ebisu is the only god who originated in Japan.
[About Naijin-mairi]
During memorial services, we set aside time for visiting the inner sanctuary.
The inner sanctuary is a sacred place where the goma altar and principal image are placed.
Normally, worshippers are not allowed to enter, but during memorial services you may enter the sanctuary and pray in front of Daikokuten.
You will be called out when the time comes, so please follow the instructions. (You cannot enter the inner sanctuary freely.)
