We start the fire ritual, Kannon "Goma" at 1:00pm on the 18th.
Priests burn the "Soegomagi" (tha small pieces of wooden boards written wishes on then) and pray to Kannon for your fulfillments at Rokkakudo-hall.
Anyone can join for free, so please come to our temple.
[Today's bits of knowledge about Nyoirin-Kannon]
Nyoirin-Kannon sits in a position called "Rin-nou-za" with one leg raised and the soles of both feet together.
In Japan, this is a special seating position only seen on statue of
Nyoirin-Kannon statues, but in India it is also seen on statues such as statue of Shishiku-Kannon.
