4月8日はお釈迦様のお生まれになった日です。
この日は仏生会(ぶっしょうえ) 釈尊降誕花まつりを13時から本堂にて開催します。
花で飾った小さなお堂の中にお釈迦様の誕生仏を安置しておりますので、参拝者の方には法要中に甘茶をかけてお祝いしていただきます。
「誕生仏」とはお釈迦様ご誕生時の仏像のことで、右手は天を、左手は地を指したお姿をしております。
ご関心のある方は是非お越しください。

At Shinkyu-ji Temple, Hana-matsuri will be held at the main hall at 1:00pm.
"Hana-matsuri" is a literal translation of the Flower Festival.
The Buddha's birth statue is enshrined in a small hall decorated with flowers, so worshipers can celebrate with sweet tea.
The statue is a Buddha's statue that looks like when he was born, and can only be seen during the Hana-maturi.
