Today, we start Gasho-no-kane (the bell on New Year's day) at 12:30 p.m. and the Shusho-e Goma at 1:00 p.m..
Gasho-no-kane is ringed by worshipers.
Of course, children can also ring the bell.
January schedule:
①8th -- the Daikokuten rite
The rite starts at 1:00 p.m. at the main hall.
(You need to donate ¥3,000,¥5,000 or ¥10,000, and write your wishes on it before the rite start.)
②18th – the Kannon Goma rite
The rite starts at 1:00 pm in the Rokkakudo hall.
Goma is a Ritual that priests burn small pieces of wooden board, on which your wishes are written, in order to pray our deities for the fulfillment of them.
③21st – the Daishikou ceremony with Goeika choir
Ceremony starts at 1:00 pm in the Kongoukaku hall. Goeika is the Buddhist pilgrim's hymn.
④28th – the Fudō Myōō Goma rite
The Goma rite starts at 1:00 p.m. in the main hall.
