December schedule:
①18th – the Kannon Goma rite
The rite starts at 1:00 p.m. in the Rokkakudo hall.
Goma is a Ritual that priests burn small pieces of wooden board, on which your wishes are written, in order to pray our deities for the fulfillment of them.
②21st – the Daishikou ceremony with Goeika choir
The rite starts at 1:00 p.m. in the Kongoukaku hall.
Goeika is the Buddhist pilgrim's hymn.
③28th – the Fudō Myōō Goma rite
The Goma rite starts at 1:00 p.m. in the main hall.
Everyone is welcome to join the rite.
④31th – Jyoya-no-kane, the bell on New Year’s eve
We will start ringing the temple's bell 108times at 11:30 p.m.
At this time, everyone can also ring the bell.
After the bell on New Year's eve, we will have the New Year's Goma rite at 12:00 a.m. on January 1st.
Gasho-no-kane (the bell on New Year's day) start at 12:30 pm. on January 1st.
From 1:00 p.m., we will hold the Shushoe Goma, so please visit that as well.
Both "Jyoya-no-kane" and "Gasho-no-kane" can be ringed by the general public, so if you are interested, please visit our temple.
