28日13時から不動尊護摩供法要を行います。
本堂にて護摩を焚き、皆様のお願いごとを祈願いたします。
どなた様でも無料でご参拝いただけますので、是非お越しください。

【本日の豆知識 ~不動明王~】
本年の大河ドラマの主役・紫式部が書いた『紫式部日記』には、式部が仕えていた中宮彰子のお産にあたり、五大明王を本尊として僧侶が安産祈祷をした場面が描かれています。(五壇の御修法、ごだんのみしゅほう)

We start the fire ritual, Fudō Myōō "Goma" at 1:00p. m. on the 28th in main hall.
Priests burn the "Soe-gomagi" (small pieces of wooden boards written wishes on then) and pray to Fudo-myo-oh for your fulfillments.
Anyone can join for free, so please come to our temple.

The ``Murasaki-Shikibu Diary'' written by Murasaki-Shikibu, the main character of this year's NHK historical drama, depicts a scene in which a monk prayed for a safe delivery to the Five Great Myōō when Chugu Shoushi, who Shikibu was serving, gave birth.
