28日は不動尊護摩供法要

28日13時からは不動尊護摩供法要を行います。
本堂にて護摩を焚き、皆様のお願いごとを祈願いたします。
どなた様でも無料でご参拝いただけますので、是非お越しください。

【本日の豆知識～不動明王～】
髪を束ねて垂らしている部分を索髪(さくはつ)や弁髪(べんぱつ)と呼びます。
弁髪のない不動明王像もあります。


On the 28th, we conduct the Fudō Myōō Goma rite from 1:00 p.m. in the main hall.
Priests burn Soegomagi, or small pieces of wooden board, on which your wishes are written, in order to pray to Fudō Myōō for the fulfillment of your wishes.
Everyone is welcome to join the rite, so please come to our temple.

The part where the hair is tied and hung down is called "sakuhatsu" or "benpatsu".
There is also a statue of Fudō Myōō without pigtails.
