16日(水)は盂蘭盆会・お施餓鬼法要と万灯会・総供養法要

16日(水)13時より、本堂にて盂蘭盆会 お施餓鬼法要を行います。
盂蘭盆会(うらぼんえ)とは、ご先祖様を供養する「お盆」のことです。
お施餓鬼は「おせがき」と読み、生前の悪行などで餓鬼となり飢えと渇きに苦しむ亡者に対し、施しを与え、供養する法要です。
供養の方法は宗派や地域によって異なりますが、眞久寺では盂蘭盆会と一緒に行っております。

また、同日14:15～15:00は、金剛閣にて万灯会・総供養法要を行います。
数百本のロウソクをお堂に並べ、お盆中に里帰りをしているご先祖様を浄土にお送りするための送り火を灯し、眞久寺に祀られている方々を供養する法要です。
ご参拝者には専用の御札(１体1000円)に供養したい方の戒名又は家名などを書いていただき、ロウソクの灯ったお堂の中を歩いてお参りいただきます。

お檀家でない方も参加できますので、興味がございましたら是非お越しください。

On the 16th, we start "Urabon-e Osegaki" at 1:00p.m. at the main hall.
"Urabon-e" is generally called "Obon", an memorial service for ancestors.
At Shinkyu-ji, "Osegaki" is also held along with the Urabon-e.
In Buddhism, it is said that some people become "Gaki" after death due to bad behavior in their lives and suffer from hunger and thirst.
"Osegaki" is a ceremony to giving and offering to "Gaki".
However, it is not performed in the Jodo-Shinshu Buddhism among the major denominations.

We start "Mantou-e" at the Kongoukaku hall from 2:15pm to 3:00pm instead of "Tourou-nagashi".
Therefore, we decided to hold "Mantou-e", arrange hundreds of candles to send the ancestors returning home to the Pure Land.
Please write down the name of the person who wishes to memorialize on the "Ofuda" (¥1000 per body) and walk in the hall illuminated by the candles.
