暁の祭りと呼ばれる奇祭”浜降祭”に参加している神社の一社です。
It is one of the shrines participating in the amazing sunrise time festival"Hamaori-sai”.
湘南地区では知らない人はいない寒川神社です。
御由緒 によると
1600年前から存在しているようです。
In Shonan area there are no people I do not know is Samukawa Shrine.
According to this shrine's information
It seems to exist from 1600 years ago.
聖徳太子の時代より更に100年前の豪族が古墳を作っていた頃からと言う事になります。
その頃から時代、時代の有力者の庇護の下、
相模国の一ノ宮として現代まで残って来ているだけありますね。
It is said that since the time when Prince Shotoku's time the clan was made 100 years ago by the clans.
From that time under the protection of influential people of the era,
There are only as far left as Ichinomiya of Sagami until now.
