千葉県 東我孫子駅

我孫子・手賀沼辺りの神社を巡りました。こちらの神社は手賀沼の南側に鎮座されている神社です。平将門を御祭神に祀られているとのことです。小さな神社ですが社殿の彫り物（彫刻）がとても立派です！

柏市のお土産に平将門に関するものがあり、なんでだろうと思っていたんですが、平将門の乱で敗れた一族が柏市を含む上総のこの辺りに逃げのびたためらしいです。

本殿はこじんまりとしてますが、彫刻が見事でした。
将門に由来する放駒や右目が彫られてない女性など言い伝えとなっています。

隣にはその一族を弔ったお寺もあり、個人的には得意ではない部類のお寺で御線香をあげさせてもらいました。

将門神社はここ以外にも上総に何箇所かあるようで、機会があれば訪ねてみたいです。

One of the souvenirs in Kashiwa city is related to Taira-no-Masakado(The warlord who ruled this area in the late Heian era) and I was wondering why, but it seems that the family lost in the rebellion of Taira-no-Masakado fled to Kazusa, including Kashiwa.

The main shrine is small, but the sculpture was wonderful.
It is a legend that there are women who do not have a carved right piece,released house s and so on.

There is a temple next to the shrine where the family was mourned.

There seem to be several other places in Kazusa, other than here, and I would like to visit if there is an opportunity.
