神奈川県 北茅ケ崎駅

茅ヶ崎を歩いていると、鳥居が目に入り
お参りしてきました。

お正月で地元の方が社務所に。
ご苦労さまです。

24.07.17。先の長善寺に隣接した茅ヶ崎市矢畑の住宅街に鎮座。

御祭神　誉田別命

【由緒】
　本社宮は、1030年（長元6年）、平忠常の乱を鎮圧するため東征した源頼義が懐島郷矢畑村に京都の岩清水八幡宮を勧請して懐島八幡宮を創建し、戦勝祈願を行ったことに始まる。
　頼義の子義家は、後三年の役の折、懐島八幡宮に祈願して反乱を平定。神恩に感謝した義家は、1089年（寛治3年）、隣郷の浜之郷に社領を寄進して鶴嶺八幡宮を創建。
　これにより、懐島八幡宮は本社宮と改称され、以来、矢畑村の鎮守として崇敬されてきた。

　本日のラスト箇所。《湘南の八幡さん》と呼ばれる鶴嶺八幡宮が、当宮から始まったとのことを知り歴史の勉強となる参詣でした。無人の神社ですが、鶴嶺八幡宮の兼務社で、手入れは良く行き届いているようです。

暁の祭りと呼ばれる奇祭”浜降祭”に参加している神社の一社です。

茅ヶ崎市矢畑の鎮守様になります。

遷宮後はこちらになります。矢畑のローソンの裏手にあり、気にしていないと見落としそうです。
こちらも自治会館が隣のに併設されていますね。

立派な神輿殿もあり、拝殿も迫力のある彫物で装飾されていました。

また、庚申塔や合祀されていると思われる石で作られた神々？(何が祀られているかは、分かりませんでした。)

On the previous post, I have posted in Japanese and many pictures.

It is one of the shrines participating in the amazing sunrise time festival "Hamaori-sai”.

This is the guardian of Yabata in Chigasaki City.

It will be here after “dengue”. It is behind Yabata Lawson and it seems to overlook if you do not mind.
Also here is a self-governing hall built next door.

There was a fine mikoshi-den, and the hall of worship was also decorated with a powerful sculpture.

Also, the gods made of stone which is believed to be a ceremonial tower or a ritual tower? I did not understand what was enshrined.

最初に気づいたのは、宅急便の荷物を取りに行った時でした。

小さな丘があり、囲いで入れない場所に出会った時でした。

古墳か何かだろうとは思ってました。

その地が遷宮前の社跡だと知ったのは、つい最近の事でした。

“遷宮”で浮かぶのはお伊勢さんくらいで、この地域で起きていたとはつゆ知らず、隣の激安スーパーに来ていました(^_^;)

I will become a guardian of Yabats in Chigasaki city.

The first thing I noticed was when I went to pick up luggage for Takkyubin.

There was a small hill and it was when I encountered a place that I could not put in an enclosure.

I thought it would be an old tumulus or something.

It was only recently that I learned that the place was old shrine.

It is about Ise who floats in "”sengu", I did not know that woke up in this area, I came to the super cheap supermarket next door.
