神明大神宮のお参りの記録(1回目)
神奈川県北茅ケ崎駅

暁の祭りと呼ばれる奇祭”浜降祭”に参加している神社の一社です。

茅ヶ崎市の円蔵地区の鎮守様になります。

このあたりの言い伝えによれば、この辺りに
懐嶋権現社が平安時代末期、武士の台頭とともに建立されたようです。

その後、源氏によって茅ヶ崎の鶴嶺八幡宮
に遷座、さらに鎌倉幕府によって鎌倉の鶴岡八幡宮に遷座し、現在に至るようです。

この社も関東大震災で倒壊し、その後再建されたようです。

現在では、懐嶋権現社はこちらの末社として合祀されてひっそり鎮座されていました。

According to this traditional legend, around here
It seems that Futokorojima shrine was built along with the rise of samurai in the late Heian period.

After that, by Genji, Tsurumine Hachimangu Shrine of Chigasaki.

It is a transition to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura by the Kamakura Shogunate, and it seems to have reached the present.

This shrine also collapsed in the Great Kanto Earthquake and it seems that it was rebuilt afterwards.

Today, this was enshrined and secretly enshrined as the end shrine here.
